Why Choose Montessori?

The Montessori method of education is based upon the developmental needs of a child for freedom within limits, in a carefully constructed environment.
Intelligence, social ability, and physical ability are developed through exposure to materials and experiences.
Children are treated with respect and free to learn at their own pace.

Children follow a set program of activities and tasks. Everyday skills such as tying shoe laces, putting on a coat, and a general caring for their group environment are learned. Children learn social etiquette skills such as turn-taking, sharing, good manners and respect for others. Subjects covered include Maths, English, Geography, Science and Music.
Focus always remains on small class numbers, individual attention, practical life skills, and commitment to the development of each child.
